MEng (Masters) in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London

I am a passionate tutor with several years of experience teaching Maths and Science (11+, KS3, GCSE and A-level) to students across a wide range of abilities and special needs (SEN). I have a strong track record of helping students achieve at least a two-grade improvement in attainment using an approach based on habit-formation, science-backed methods and personalised teaching. I also have deep expertise in 11+ exam preparation (Maths, Verbal Reasoning, Non-Verbal Reasoning and English) and have successfully guided children into top grammar and independent schools.

I specialise in mentoring students applying to STEM degrees, drawing on my own experience studying chemical engineering at Imperial College London. I provide tailored support with personal statements, entrance exams, mock interviews and guidance on university life. I have guided many students to study engineering, medicine and dentistry at top Russell Group universities, including Oxbridge, Imperial and LSE.

My teaching approach centres on creating a positive and welcoming learning environment to help students build their confidence and develop a mindset for success that extends beyond their studies. I ensure students have an engaging and approachable experience by incorporating real-world examples, a high level of interactivity and a variety of different problem-solving approaches.

I am excited by the opportunity to help young learners develop a true passion for learning and to help them become confident and independent learners. I am deeplypassionate about making a positive difference to the lives of students and empowering them to achieve their potential.  I firmly believe that inspirational and engaging education should be accessible to every student regardless of circumstance.
