I am an experienced, friendly, and dedicated multilingual tutor, specialising in Spanish and French tuition for children, teenagers, and adults. Growing up in Barcelona with a Spanish father and a French mother gave me first-hand experience of the benefits of learning languages from an early age. Since moving to London in 2008, I have built a rewarding career helping students develop confidence, achieve academic success, and enjoy the process of learning a new language.
Over the past 15 years, I have taught learners with a wide range of abilities and objectives, from beginners taking their first steps in Spanish or French to students preparing for GCSE, A-level, and DELE examinations. I have also supported many adult learners seeking to improve their language skills for travel, work, or personal enrichment. My experience teaching predominantly one-to-one and in small groups has enabled me to develop a highly personalised approach, ensuring every lesson is carefully adapted to each student’s learning style, pace, and ambitions.
I believe that the most effective learning takes place in a supportive environment where students feel motivated to communicate and are encouraged to make mistakes as part of the learning process. My lessons are based on the communicative approach, combining structured guidance with engaging activities that develop speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills equally. Drawing on a wide range of teaching resources, alongside materials I have designed myself, I aim to make every lesson purposeful, enjoyable, and challenging, helping students build lasting confidence and achieve their full potential.
