I offer French, maths and English tutoring.I teach French to children of all ages, with the youngest pupil I have taught being three years old. I teach maths and English to 7+ to 11+ pupils and all primary school ages. I also teach maths to secondary school pupils.

Having moved from the UK to Belgium as a young child, I am bilingual in French and English. I was educated in local French-speaking schools in Brussels. I have previously tutored French to primary and secondary school ages. I am seeking to encourage and assist pupils to enjoy and achieve in their education, whilst creating an enjoyable, rewarding experience for both tutee and tutor. I have a very caring, yet practical approach to language tuition.

Whilst at school in Brussels, I won prizes for top grades across Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Latin. At university in Birmingham, I went on to receive the Head of School’s Commendation three years in a row, recognising students with the top 10% of grades across all undergraduate programmes. I have a very strong work ethic that I bring to tutoring and all the work I do.

I am always looking for ways to learn more about children and how they work, so that I can improve myself as a tutor. I have recently spent time working in London primary schools and I am also working on the Hyde Tutoring revision courses, this work has been incredibly useful as it has increased my knowledge of the curriculum and entrance exams; additionally it is helpful to work with children in a group setting as well as a one-to-one, to further my understanding and ability to cater to the pupils I teach.  I have always had an interest in psychology and the best way to engage with children: I studied psychology at Birmingham University and I am now looking to increase my understanding of children as a whole, by undertaking an additional qualifications in counselling.

I interact with children and young adults in an understanding, energetic and fun manner and love to experience the joy that comes from expressing yourself and being understood in another language!
