Fourth-Year Medical Student | St George’s, University of London | GCSE Tutor & Medical/Dental School Admissions Specialist
I am a fourth-year medical student at St George’s, University of London, with over five years of tutoring experience and a strong passion for helping students achieve their academic ambitions. I specialise in GCSE Mathematics, English, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, alongside medical and dental school admissions, UCAT preparation and university interview coaching.
Over the past five years, I have worked with students of varying abilities, helping them build confidence, overcome academic challenges and achieve outstanding results, including grades 8 and 9 at GCSE. My approach goes beyond simply teaching the syllabus. I focus on developing a genuine understanding of each subject, strengthening examination technique and equipping students with the skills to succeed independently.
Having guided numerous students throughout their academic journeys, I have also had the privilege of supporting aspiring doctors and dentists in securing places at competitive UK universities. My medical and dental admissions expertise covers UCAT preparation, personal statements, university selection and both MMI and traditional interviews. Drawing on my own experience of successfully navigating the medical school application process, I provide students with practical, personalised guidance to help them stand out in an increasingly competitive admissions process.
My teaching experience extends internationally, having supported students from China, Singapore and other international backgrounds, helping them adapt to the British education system, excel academically and successfully progress to UK universities. I have also worked with students with special educational needs and additional learning requirements, adapting my teaching methods to ensure that every student receives the patience, structure and individual attention they deserve.
What distinguishes my approach is my commitment to understanding each student as an individual. I recognise that no two students learn in the same way, and I pride myself on creating a supportive yet academically challenging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing confidence in their abilities.
I firmly believe that exceptional tutoring is not simply about improving grades, but about transforming a student’s confidence, aspirations and attitude towards learning. Whether a student is struggling with GCSE fundamentals, aiming for the highest grades or working towards a future career in medicine or dentistry, my goal is to provide the guidance, encouragement and expertise needed to help them reach their full potential.
For me, the greatest reward is seeing students who once doubted their abilities go on to achieve results and opportunities they never thought possible.
