I have been tutoring privately for nearly 20 years, and have successfully prepared children for entrance exams to leading UK independent schools at 7+, 8+, 10+, 11+, 13+ and 16+. My students have been offered places at St Paul’s, Westminster, NLCS, City, Latymer Upper, Eton, Wycombe Abbey and Cheltenham Ladies College to name just a few, and many have been awarded academic scholarships.
I have a proven success rate with GCSE, A Level and IB: my students typically achieve level 9s at GCSE, and a number have gained 100% on both coursework and exams. I also support university personal statement development and mentor students at all stages of their education, up to and including undergraduate level.
My teaching approach is creative and interdisciplinary, drawing on an extensive knowledge of literature as well as my background in art and theatre; particularly effective with visual-spatial learners.
I have extensive experience supporting students with SEN, including dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADHD and ASD, and have worked widely with international students and UHNW families, understanding the importance of discretion, adaptability and professionalism.
“Jade has been an extraordinary teacher to us. She has tutored our boys, now nearly 10 and 7.5yrs, through the 8+ and 7+ exams to secure places at Westminster Under school.” Anna, Parent
“We hired Jade mostly because the children enjoyed her teaching and learned to love English with her gentle help. Our
youngest now proudly proclaims English as his favourite subject at school, and Jade’s contribution to his attitude is definitely considerable.” Olga, Parent
“Jade has been an integral part of my GCSE learning – she has helped and inspired me in so many different ways. I would always look forward to my lessons every week with Jade, as she would always find ways to make them very entertaining. I loved having Jade as a tutor, and I will definitely miss her next year!” Layla, student
