Thomas’s Battersea Adds 7+ and 8+ Entry Points
Thomas’s Battersea has announced new entry points at 7+ and 8+, opening doors for families hoping to join earlier than the traditional 11+ route. These additional entry points will appeal to those looking for a strong academic foundation from the start of prep school.
City of London School Ends 13+ Entry
From September 2026, City of London School will no longer offer 13+ entry. The last cohort for Year 9 entry will be in September 2025. Any future places in Years 9 or 10 will only be offered as occasional places, with no formal 13+ intake. The 11+ route will now be the main point of entry.
New Schools Opening

Major Co-Educational Moves
King’s College School, Wimbledon Goes Fully Co-Ed
In a phased rollout over the next decade, King’s College School will become fully co-educational, welcoming girls across all year groups and transitioning from its traditionally boys-only senior structure. Read more here.
